A little history...
Our unusual accommodation THE FIELD CAMP is located on a American advanced landing ground
(A8-N) built during the Normandy landings. From June to September 1944, American and British fighters flew here for their daily air support missions.

Throughout this period, pilots and ground crew stayed in the surrounding fields, in tents or makeshift shelters. Despite the fighting, these men were able to share the daily life of the local population.
